I am a registered nurse, vegetarian, and totally interested in how foods impact the body for healing or hurting. Much of what we eat in the U.S. is hurtful to our bodies, not to mention vaccine conspiracies that have greatly damaged our children. Pharmaceutical companies kill thousands of people and are never brought to task for this. Ex. Avandia, which grossed 2.2 BILLION the first year it was on the market in 2004, and has a high fatality rate. It is still out there making money and killing. We start out with healthy bodies, and then they are confronted with extremely harmful ingredients that kill kidneys, etc. Ms. Hawkins is on to something really good here. I praise her audacity and tenacious efforts to keep her body well. Hemodialysis is pretty much a stop-gap to death, because with each event, these patients place their lives on the line. They are heroes! We need more people like Ms. Hawkins who have the courage to take their health in their hands and tell these script writing doctors to shuvit!Product details

This book has a lot of good information on nutrition and supplements that will help in detoxifying. As the author states your body did not get in a bad state overnight it is as a result of many years of eating what is not good for you. A must buy for anyone seeking to improve their Heath and energy level. This book has helped me in that quest.
This book never ceases to amaze me at the level of wisdom its author has shared and bestowed upon her readers! Its absolutely breathtaking and it never gets old. Every time I read it I feel like its my first. Alot of what the book says, concerning the remedies has actually worked wonders for me. A good read for people who are not even a candidate for dialysis and just wanna be healthy! )
Although the author has written from her own experience and I find it hard to criticize someone's personal account, this book needs to be thoroughly edited. It is scattered and too repetitive. It is not presented in a sequence that I could follow and process.
It is a book that is too casual and has a lack of editing that makes reading difficult. However I found it useful.
